Chris Jensen (b. 1992, Portland, OR, USA)

I'm a ceramic artist, filmmaker, and humanitarian comms professional living and working in Brooklyn, New York. I've been working with clay since high school, and started throwing on the wheel when I was 13. I've taken a few sabbaticals since then and have had some incredible teachers over the years. Lately, I'm focused on decorative vessels and experimental glazes. My current work pulls references from cybersigilism tattoo culture, marine animals, and science fiction films, with form as a focus. I’m enjoying experimenting with textures and homemade glazes, and I hope you like the results.
