Chris Jensen (b. 1992, Portland, OR, USA)

I'm a ceramic artist, filmmaker, and humanitarian comms professional living and working in Brooklyn, New York. I've been working with clay since high school, and started throwing on the wheel when I was 13. I've taken a few sabbaticals since then and have had some incredible teachers over the years. Lately, I'm focused on decorative vessels and experimental glazes. My current work pulls references from neo-tribal tattoos, marine animals, and science fiction films, with form as a focus. I’m enjoying experimenting with textures and homemade glazes, and I hope you like the results.
